WINNIE COOPER
Calligraphy and pressed flowers is a special art media combination done by Winnie Cooper. She has done note card and print designs under the name "Winsomes" for almost twenty-five years. The latest collection is a potpourri of international sayings.
A native of Buffalo, NY, Winnie has background in art ed from the Univ. of Kansas and Birmingham Southern College. She has always been intriqued by "fancy writing" and flowers. Florals and landscapes are usually her chosen subjects. Aqua-media, mixed media and collage are used in abstract and non-objective styles to create the color, line, texture and shape of natural materials and settings.
